Here at AutoZone Park, the excitement of the season is always supported by the arrival of merchandise. A few photos from the Backstop Baseball Emporium were snapped yesterday of the gear. Of those photographed is a shirt commemorating the Battle of the Birds showdown, featuring the Redbirds and the team’s parent club, the St. Louis Cardinals. With the Battle of the Birds a short 10 days away, the excitement began to stir around the park. The team shop will be open for the showdown on the 28th and once the season starts.
