Hello everyone!

My name is Dan White and I am the new Media Relations Intern for the Redbirds. I just moved to Memphis last week from the Mountains of Western North Carolina to take this position. This is my first job in professional baseball but have worked in Media Relations at the collegiate level, specifically East Carolina University and Western Carolina University.

My primary game day duty will be to serve as a “stringer” for MiLB, which means scoring the home games using a specially designed program that will collect all of the statistics. The program then sends data to various media outlets so fans can enjoy pitch-by-pitch action of their favorite players and teams. The stats are compiled in a database where access is readily available for every fan to look at.
I am looking forward to interacting with everyone throughout the season!
